Baby elephant

Before I headed to Scotland, a new elephant baby was born in the Tierpark Berlin and Katja organized a meeting. :-)

It's a male, really cute and so tiny compared to his mother.





We were just a few meters apart from him and his mother, which was an really awesome experience. He is so cute but don't know how to say - he comes across as "serious" compared to the other elephant babies I have seen in Berlin. Actually he behaves like an "old soul", if you know what I mean.
Julia, wished you could see him at that age. But at least enjoy the pictures!
