Riding the Maid of the Mist

This time the Maid of the Mist was still operating and so I purchased a ticket for a boat ride under the falls (or at least close to). It was highly impressive. You stood on deck while the engines fought hard against the strong current to hold the rocking boat in place so we could watch the tons of water rushing down the Canadian falls directly around us. The sound was ear-deafening and you got wet regardless of the blue rain coat you received for protection. Luckily my camera survived the shower. :-)
