On the last day of our stay at Niagara Falls we joined the "Cave of the Winds" tour which in summer leads you directly to the very bottom of the Falls. In November it is admittedly damn cool and because nobody wants to be responsible for hundreds of touris leaving with pneumonia, the tour guide just brings you to the outer platforms at the base between American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls where you can watch the enormous masses of water rushing down the cliffs. The mist is everywhere in the air, moisturizing your skin and hair and also clothes after a while. I am very sure when I am going to visit the Falls again I'll do it during the summer months to get a more intense experience of this great spot, enjyoing the tour behind the Falls and riding the Maid of the Mist. Now I gotta go, but I will come back! :-)
