Toronto

After 1 1/2 hours of driving in Candada (YES, they are doing KMH, NOT MPH!!) we approached Toronto, a big grey city and an ideal place to get lost. Due to the short period of daylight we decided to make it short and just visited the CN tower being the main attraction of the city and the highest tower in the world (553m). Unfortunately we did not make it to the very top of the tower (sky pod) because of high winds, but we also had an impressing view out of the main visitor level. After several minutes of puzzling about where to find our car again in the jungle of Toronto, we came to the glass floor, my favourite. You were able to walk on a several inches thick glass platform, and if you managed it to ignore your stomach making funny little movements, and looked down to your feet you felt like hovering over an abyss of more than 300m. That's a very interesting feeling I can tell.
