Almanzo Wilder's boyhood homestead

By another incident my eyes got catched by a small, unimposing, blue sign titled Almanzo's Farm when I was driving thru north NY nearby Malone. It made me curious and so I followed the sign and was rewarded by ending up at the boyhood homestead of Almanzo Wilder, husband of Laura Ingalls-Wilder who is the author of some of my favourite books (Little house on the prairie) that tell the story of the hard but also fascinating life of Laura, her family and later her husband in the 19th century in the United States of America. The farm Almanzo lived before he met Laura was reconstructed and made up like a museum which was kinda neat.
