Covered bridges of New York

I did not find the most often photographed covered bridge in Vermont but I discovered two of these unique American architectural masterstrokes in the state of New York. The red Buskirk bridge was accessable by car while the oldest covered bridge not only of New York but also of the whole United States, the Hyde Hall, was for pedistrians and bicyclists reserved. I have to admit I still do not really get it what a covered bridge is good for - but nonetheless I like them . :-)
