What is it?
What's this? Take a guess! No metal hedgehog and no silvery needle brush. No idea? Okay, then here comes the solution. You are actually looking into the middle layer of ice I pictured in a dog's water bowl this morning. What looks like needles are air bubbles that were captured during freezing at night and formed tiny air-filled tunnels in the growing crystal-clear ice. Water is great regardless of its shape!
